My computer is ready to house two. I was a cupcake but apparently I'm a ninja today.

Other adjustments have had to be made to make my world of one to fit two. One night when Dandylion (yes, that is his official name now) was visiting, we moved my 1800's wardrobe over to the other side of the room and made a discovery.

That's right. A hole. My wonderful mother painted the room from what I had when I was a teenager (while I was out traveling the world) to a light peachy color, and again (when I was in Vietnam) to that lovely robin's egg blue. Normally she would never leave such a hole, but I do not blame her for not trying to move the monstrosity that is my wardrobe. So something had to be done.

I considered painting a doorway around the hole to the wall of my past room, but really wanted this headboard for our new queen sized bed. The little bit sticking out above did not look right.

So I did what needed to be done.

Four coats of paint later, and the hole to my beloved teenager room (my personal Venice/Morocco) is gone but not forgotten.

Still more progress to go, such as needing an actual box spring for my bed instead of a twin mattress and two bins, but it's a start!

P.S. In other news, I'm going to try and see if I can get a comments section on here... Hey did anyone find the random stamp hidden somewhere on my website? I cannot get rid of it for some reason.
